About the studio name, why Toboggan Avenue? I'm glad you asked!
Toboggan Avenue is a place of warm and delightful childhood memories, full of exploration and creative moments. As a surface designer, I look back at my home with nostalgia, inspired by the sights and sounds. The memories from this special place continue to provide me with inspiration for my artwork and design ideas.
Bird songs and fireflies enchant. Prairie grasses wave in the wind and sunsets are enjoyed in the wide, open space. Front porch pea shelling happens on warm summer afternoons, and long talks in the garden with grandparents while hoeing rows of corn. Memories made, foundations built, hard work and life well lived.
